Brian Pickard

"I am a retired Science/Computer Studies teacher. I started computing way back on a Sinclair ZX81 with all of 1Kbyte RAM (until I bought a wobbly 16Kram extension). Moving onto a Commodore VIC20 (it had colour!) and then discovering the wonderful BBC Model B with its BASIC. I still use BBC BASIC for most of my programming (I havent found anything I can't do yet just using BASIC). My trusty RiscPC (getting on a bit like me!) still allows me to surprise friends. Other interests include music (I was in a pop group while I was at school) and electronics."
